Donations are a key element to the success of Drive A Senior services. We’re grateful to the hundreds of people who have chosen to share with us – by giving money, or goods or in-kind services. Because we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, most donations to Drive a Senior are tax deductible. If you prefer to make a monetary donation, please click the DONATE button to go to our secure donation page, where you’ll find a number of options.
We also have other ways to contribute:

We have frequent gatherings that serve as fundraisers and are held by our different service areas throughout the year. You can contribute by acting as a sponsor, purchasing tickets, bidding at silent auctions, or with on-the-spot donations.

Your gift of an older, unused car, truck, van or boat can be translated into proceeds for Drive a Senior programs. Your donation, regardless of age or condition, is tax deductible. This button takes you to the website of our partner in vehicle donations (please select Drive a Senior from the “choose a charity” pulldown menu). Or call 512-310-1060 or 866-598-3548.

IN-KIND

Donate goods or services

To make an in-kind contribution to Drive a Senior, please send us your contact data and use the comments box to describe what you're offering.

Donations of professional services, office equipment and office supplies are always welcomed, including older computers and printers you no longer need. Please click “IN-KIND” for an online form.

MEDICAL

Donate medical equipment

To donate medical equipment you no longer need to a senior who could really use it, please share your contact information and use the comments box to describe the equipment you're offering.

Durable medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, or walkers, is often bought and then forgotten when the patient no longer needs it. Drive A Senior maintains “Ollie’s Closet” a lending clearing house that makes serviceable equipment available to benefit someone who needs it. We could always use: wheelchairs, electric scooters, walkers, canes and shower seats.

Medical equipment donations go to a central clearinghouse and will be distributed to seniors who need them throughout the Drive a Senior network. In all other cases, if you want your gift to go to a particular regional chapter, please check that region in the appropriate form.
